Who are WE To Judge!

Who are WE To Judge!

BismiAllahi Al-Rahman Al-Raheem " In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful The Specially Merciful:

We always make judgment on people while we are talking , walking and working. It's a very bad habit to judge someone, or to put miserable future for them. I am writing this article and I believe this is VERY common in our MUSLIM society. I remember when i was in high school and university. I used to think, this man smoking drugs he is bad , this guy does not smoke n he does not do anything bad he is good. This woman does not wear hijab then she is not good, this wear hijab this good.  Here is the worst part, He or she will go to hell fire!!! Let's stop and think very well who are We to judge and send people to hell fire OR to send other people to paradise???
Is this is our job as humans? As servants of Allah? We are no different than them. Do you like people to say behind your back or look at you and say this person will go to hell fire, for whatever reason in their mind?
The Prophet Muhammed, Peace and Blessings be upon him, said :On the authority of Abdullah bin Masud, who said : the messenger of Allah, and he is the truthful, the believed narrated to us :  p "Verily the creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother's belly for forty days in the form of seed, then he is a clot of blood for a like period, then a morsel of flesh for a like period, then there is sent to him the angel who blows the breath of life into him and who is commanded about four matters: to write down his means of livelihood, his life span, his actions, and whether happy or unhappy. By Allah, other than Whom there is no god, verily one of you behaves like the people of Paradise until there is but an arm's length between him and it, and that which has been written over takes him and so he behaves like the people of Hell-fire and thus he enters it; and one of you behaves like the people of Hell-fire until there is but an arm's length between him and it, and that which has been written over takes him and so he behaves like the people of Paradise and thus he enters it."
                                                              related by Bukhari and Muslim
How can we judge people when we don't know the unseen? How we judge others when we don’t even know our own destination and our own destiny.
Once an American young man dreamed that Jesus, peace be upon him, commanded, " Follow Muhammad".   The young man went to an Islamic center, asking what the dream meant. After his dream was explained, he accepted Islam, and died three days later while he was praying. Who can believe this brother was non Muslim, and in three days will die while he is praying?  An old man in his mid 70s went to the Mosque and asked some young men, “How do I make Wudu(Ablution)? I have never prayed in my life. Some of them made fun of him, but others taught him how to make Wudu and how to pray. He died while he was praying! Allahu Akbar! (God is the Greatest!)  Who could believe this man who was known for not praying would die in the Mosque while praying?
Yes we can say he or she is doing bad things inside ourselves but on the other hand, make Duaa for them that Allah will guide them as he guided us, make Duaa that Allah will not return you back misguided again, say " this is how we used to be, Allah guided us".  Rememeber, Allah The Almighty said in the Quran:  Sahih International: [Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower. ( 3:8 )

We need to stop making judgments on people and ask Allah always to guide us and them. Even if you never have been misguided, Allah didn't bless everyone with guidance from the beginning of their lives.  So some do not have Muslim families for support and guidance and good examples as you always have.

May Allah guide us and the misguided Muslims and non-Muslims Ameen!

Islamophobia in the West and the East!!!

BismiAllahi Al-Rahman Al-Raheem " In The Name of Allah The Most Merciful The Specially Merciful ".

Growing up seeing some American movies shows how much the hatred against Islam.  The directors even make the Muslims themselves feel that other Muslims are evil.  This has spread to the East, in movies, talk shows and newspaper!!!.  It's weird that all people think most religions call for peace and Islam does not?  Let`s think about the word Islam and what it means.  Islam means surrender and submit to the Only God who is worthy to be worshiped.  The greeting in Islam " Assalaamu Alykum " means peace be upon you ".

It's ironic that now Muslims think that Islam should adjust to the way we live, or modernize.  Allah, the most glorious, said in the Quran "This day, those who disbelieved have given up all hope of your religion, so fear them not, but fear Me. This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam (total submission to God) as your religion. ..." 5:3, Allah, the most glorious, reveled  Islam for all eras.

We are humans we need to use our mind to say what’s correct and true.  People should STOP and think, ‘Is what’s being said and told to us through the  media true or not?  How about stop learning from the media and go to the source.  Our source in Islam is the Holly Quran.  To read the Quran,  please click here.  It`s funny that a Muslim woman asked me ‘You are Salafi?’ (Salafi means ancestor and refers to people in Islam who are religious and following the path of the Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, and his companions.)  She continued ‘I heard salafi men were running after people with steaks to make them grow their beard!’  I said is not funny, I am not running after people.  Do you see steak in my hand?!!  It's happening now every where even to the Muslims. The media is making people scared from Muslims who only fear their Lord and are not hypocrite. We are being honest with people, this is how we are, we are doing our best to obey Allah. If we make a mistake correct us and if we did right support us. We need to learn how to live together without being scared that I’ll lock you in the house or make you grow your beard. This is not what Islam is about. Islam is about the truth and the best way of life to humanity!

Main Pillar Of Islam

Main Pillars of Islam

(Testimony of Faith)
The first pillar of Islam is to believe and declare the faith by saying the Shahadah (lit. 'witness'), known as the Kalimah.

(Daily Ritual Prayers)
Prayer (Salah), in the sense of worship, is the second pillar of Islam. Prayer is obligatory and must be performed five times a day. These five times are dawn (Fajr), immediately after noon (Dhuhr), mid-afternoon ('Asr), sunset (Maghrib), and early night (Isha').

(Fasting the Month of Ramadhan)
The fourth pillar of Islam is fasting. Allah prescribes daily fasting for all able, adult Muslims during the whole of the month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the lunar calendar, beginning with the sighting of the new moon.

(Alms Tax for Poor)
The third pillar of Islam is the alms-tax (Zakah). The word in Arabic implies "purification" and it is understood to mean that a person "purifies" his holdings of wealth from greed and stinginess.

(Pilgrimage to Mecca)
The fifth pillar of Islam is to make a pilgrimage (Hajj) to Makkah, in Saudi Arabia, at least once in one's lifetime. This pillar is obligatory for every Muslim, male or female, provided that he/she is physically and financially able to do so.

True Islam

  • Islam (what it is?) - "Islam" means (surrender; submission; obedience; peace)

Islam is a verb and a noun at the same time.

The first meaning of "Islam" is the verb from the root "aslama" (a verb), meaning to: "surrender; submit; obey; sincerity and in peace."
The second meaning of "Islam" is the noun form from the same root, and it describes the last and final form of the way of life as perscribed by the Creator for His Creation. This is the name used in Quran for Muslims to call themselves as followers of "Islam". This would make them "Islam-ers" in English, but of course in Arabic the prefix "mu" is added to denote the one preforming the action or verb and instead it becomes "mu"-"islam" or "Muslim."
"Islam" can be understood in a very general sense to be the true religion of God, as it is from Him and according to His commandments without adding to or taking away from the basic precepts

Beliefs in Islam

  • Pillars of Faith (6 Beliefs of the Muslim)
  1. Allah (The One Almighty God of all)
  2. Angels (made from light)
  3. Books (all revealed scriptures are from Allah)
  4. Prophets (messengers of Allah)
  5. Day of Judgment of Judgment (everyone will be resurrected)
  6. Predestination (Divine Decree of Allah)
Every Muslim is required to believe in all six (6) of the above to be considered as a true Muslim.
